Our hand-knit mittens are crafted for us by the Fabian family in Haulhaus, Peru, which is located in the Junin Valley of central Peru. At 12,000' above sea level, people know how to stay warm and alpaca fiber is the only way to go. High insulation value, (2-3 times that of sheeps wool) lightweight and strong. These mitts are hand-knit from 100% alpaca yarn. No dyes are used in the natural color mittens, the colors are the natural colors of the alpacas. The Vegetable dyed mittens are organic dyes made from plants in the surrounding area. Size is a women's medium.
